Laughlin, Nv - The Tropicana Laughlin is hosting a
$10,000 Don’t Be a Turkey Blackjack Tournament November 18-20, 2011.

Registration begins Friday from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. in Special Event Registration Area. Tournament play will run Saturday and Sunday with the top six players and a wild card player advancing to the finals on Sunday to compete for the $2,500 first place prize. This tournament will pay up to 37 places.

Registration fee is $50 per player, or players may receive a free entry by accumulating ten hours of tracked table games play from November 1 to November 17.

Before the start of each round, entrants will receive $2,000 in tournament chips with the option for a $5 cash tip to receive an additional $500 in Tournament chips.

Entrants must bet a minimum of $25 and a maximum of $500; each will play a maximum of 16 hands. When the first rounds of play have been completed, entrants will have the option of a $50 re-buy round.

Participants who play live table games from Saturday (following first round) through their final round on Sunday, hit a qualifying hand and go on to place in the tournament will be paid a 50% bonus to their prize amount.
