The KTM Parker "250" will be a Motorcycle and Quad only race and will be held on January 3, 4, 2003, in Parker, Arizona. Best In The Desert is very proud to have KTM Sportmotorcycles Inc. as the Title Sponsor of the KTM Parker "250" and to have KTM Sportmotorcycles once again involved in desert racing! Not only is this an exciting new race in the "Silver State Series" but racing in Parker, Arizona will be new and exciting for the Best In The Desert racers! The Parker event is a legendary event in racing history; this year the Motorcycles and Quads will be racing on the course on a different date then the Car and Truck community, there will be two great Parker events to attend!

The KTM Parker "250" will be raced on a 115-mile loop, raced around 2 times, plus an additional 8 miles to the finish line, starting Downtown Parker, Arizona, and finishing along the mighty Colorado River! The race has a long history of great spectating areas and great supportive fans. Fans will be able to spectate from Osborne Wash which is a great area to cheer on your favorite racers!

The KTM Parker "250" will be held on Saturday, January 4, with the Start on Main Street in Parker, Arizona! You will be able to watch the BEST Motorcycle and Quad racers in the country. You will see the KTM Factory Team riders Kurt Casselli, Paul Krause, Joey Lanza, Daryl Folks, and Bryan Folks, the Honda Factory Team riders Johnny Campbell, Steve Hengeveld, Andy Grider, Mike Childress and the Kawasaki Team Green Factory riders Destry Abbott, Shane Esposito, Brian Brown and David Pearson, all will be racing the KTM Parker "250" off-road desert race! Definitely a "Duel In The Desert!" The best Quad Racers in the country to watch are Doug Eichner, Jimmy Stephensen, William Yokley, Steve Beilman, Greg Stewart, John Gregory, Mike Johnson, Danny Rudd, Allen White and many more, these racers are all top racers, tough to beat and fun to watch! You can MEET the BEST desert racers on Friday, January 3, at the Blue Water Resort & Casino during Contingency and WATCH the BEST desert racers race on Saturday morning around the exciting 73-mile loop!

Registration, Contingency and Technical Inspection for the KTM Parker "250" will be held at the beautiful Blue Water Resort & Casino, on Friday, January 3, 2002, from 10am to 6pm. The Race will be held on Saturday, January 4, and the Awards Presentation will be held on Saturday night, at the Blue Water Resort & Casino!
