No Matter what you call it it's a fun place to go open weekends only from Labor Day Weekend to Memorial Weekend the Desert Bar is the weekend warriors or the cruisers place to be. To get there is easy going North on 95 past Four Corners in Parker there is a paved turn out on the right side of the road turn there go back a few miles on the dirt road through the crevice and there it is(Map), watch out for the Off Road Vehicles of all types on the road this route can be driven by any vehicle, for the more adventurous go up to the last cheap gas at Buckskin Store turn on the road and go but be careful as this road is for four wheel drive or the serious off road buggy or rail. Either way this a good day trip, some times there's even live music. Be careful, don't litter the desert and have a ball. You're sure to see someone you know or make a new friend. Beer, wine, cocktails are available and they also have restrooms. While there explore the sites around the bar, which was built at the site of an old mining camp. Make sure you have some ID with you, because they have a very strict rule that states no ID no service. Watch for my next adventure the Bill Williams Trail. | |
